The collaborative law process is a system of negotiation that can be utilised to resolve a range of legal disputes amongst families from pre-nuptial agreements to divorce settlements. Each party appoints their own lawyer and then all parties meet, with their lawyers present, with a view to resolving the dispute.

In using this method of dispute resolution parties, with the guidance and support of their lawyers, are able to reach a settlement in a less contentious manner than going to Court.
